Got my $12 camshaft!!! Looks real good, but now what?

Cam that is in my 89 4runner (4cylinder engine) is shot. The shiney part on a couple lobes in the back is partially worn off. Hence, the $12 camshaft is here to replace it.

Question: The pads on the rocker thingy (the part that "rides" on the lobe), can those be changed out? I don't have the camshaft out of the vehicle yet, so not sure what part can be replaced.

Suggestions? Thanks.

yes, and they should be replaced at the same time. may have contributed to the original problem.

the pads themselves cannot be replaced, but if they're in ok shape it'll be fine to reuse the rocker. otherwise you can buy new ones or have them resurfaced by a machine shop.

there's somebody on ebay that sells topline rockers for about $12 each on ebay, i think it's about twice that for dealer ones.

i've got the topline rockers and they're pretty nice.
