Cool Put new wheels on my wife's 4Runner... what a difference!

So my wife's 96 4Runner has been in need of new wheels for a long time- those 15's just looked too small.

So I found a set of new 2005 Sequoia wheels, and then wrapped them in 2665/70/17 Yoko Geolander ATII's- STUNNING!

She loves 'em, I dig the new look, and hey, if she's happy, I'm happy. (Best anniversary gift she's gotten yet she told me!)

AFTER:

(yes, the tires are big, but there is no rubbing, whew!)

HOLY CRAP! That looks AMAZING! What were the size tires before? They looked tiny!

Tell us how you like the Yokos, thats what I am considering for my next tire.

Where did you buy the rims?

Wow, I've been unsure if those rims really look good on the 3rd gens. You see some with big lifts and big tires, and they look fantastic. Then you see some stock runners with these rims with stock tires and they don't look very good. Yours looks awesome!!!

There's another black runner on this site that has the same wheels and it just didn't look right.

After after:

A few things here. 1. Your rig looks awesome after the addition of those wheels. 2. I always wondered what (almost) black Sequoia wheels would look like on a 3rd gen. 3. I just got photo-editing software that I have been dying to try out on someone's rig. 4. I took off your running boards, added custom bumpers, limo tint, and clear corner lights.

I have no idea. I just used the black paint pen and added some angles. I know I can do better, but I just threw this together in about 15 minutes to see what it would look like. Not sure what I think about those 17's in that color. Totally different rig and look.

Oh well, enough threadjacking from me!
