3rd gen 4Runner rear drive shaft lengths---whats yours?
I'm looking for some measurements from 3rd gen 4Runner guys (4x4 only)
I'm looking for a flange to flange measurement, from the t-case flange to the rear diff flange. From what I understand, manual trans 4Runners have a longer shaft than the autos, and the multimode autos are even shorter.
I've gotten a measurement from auto rigs, but no manual trans.
Oh, and while your down there, could you measure the distance between the drive shaft bolts, up and down, top to bottom, from center of bolt to the center of bolt?
Thanks! I'm hoping a 5 speed manual rear shaft will be a direct swap for my 88 4Runner v6 5 speed. I will probably have to modify the output flange of the t-case though. Unless I can swap output flanges too.
