Ok... i was looking around and came across a throttle body spacer for the 4runner. does anyone have any experience with these? are they worth the time and money spent? also, are they have to install.. i would not think so but are there any stupid things that came up. heres an example of one i found.

I dont think it will add any power. But it will make a really cool noise. I would get one just for the sound if they werent so expensive.

NP, just don't want anyone else to be suckered and lose money in the name of more HP. What vehicle do you have? Engine size?

 

1999 4runner 3.4L with 132k.

 

Those things have a few nicknames.....none of them good.

Spacers work great, IF you have a carb, or throttle body injection. With port injection, like the 3.4 and 3.0 they do nothing, except maybe lighten your wallet a bit. If you're that desperate for a lighter wallet send me the money

 

Bingo... just a few extra inches for the air to travel.
