I need new Tires

I was wondering what tire out there(mud terrain tred) gets the most mileage with a good bit of highway driving. i have had bfg mud terrains now for 2 years and by the time i end up changing them i will have put probably about 35k miles or so on them. i know the highway will kill me in a mud terrains but i live and go to school an 2 hours away from my home town town and go back there often to see everyone. i know with that type of driving i should run an A/T but i just dont want to. which tires would you run?

35k on any set of mud terrains is good.... you arent going to find better mileage out of a mud terrain....

Might as well bite the bullet and get another set. Your best economical option is get ATs but you don't want them. I got around 30k on my old bridgestone MTs.

If you do that much highway driving, why not get 2 sets?

The Michelin LTX's get amazing mileage and wear, then switch to a mud when you want to offroad.
It is pretty much an oxymoron to have a true mud tire that gets great gas mileage.

my stock tires were michelin ltx/ms and they were great. i think i might just go with the bfg at instead of mud terrain.
