side steps? please post your pics if you have them.
I am not sure if this belongs to offroad tech but I currently have 2.5" suspension lift and just ordered the 2" 4Crawler RB BL. I am currently on 265/75/16 right now and my next set of tires will be 305/70/16. However right now at the current height, my gf can manage to get in and out but when I put the 2" BL on, I don't think its going to be easy for her to get in. She is 5'3.
I was wondering if there are any nice side steps for the 4runner? Also when I searched, I found that they mounted to the frame, how stupid will it look with a 2" BL and the side steps being alot lower?
Any other options besides side steps?
Please post pic if you guys have any.

i wouldnt even bother with sidesteps. that completely contradicts what you want to do with your 4runner if you want it for offroad purposes. those sidesteps are going to make the clearance smaller. if you want something on the sides, i would suggest sliders. best of both worlds, they can help you get in as well as protect those fragile rocker panels.

Here's what one guy did with a pair of my Rock SliderZ on his 2nd gen:

The steps bolt to the bottom of the sliders and can be removed for wheeling and installed afterwards.

looks like I may be leaning towards sliders.
I am a noob, haven't hit a trail yet. I'm not locked either...
I found a trail right next to my house... turned out to be some 1/4 mile dirt road with a parking lot at the end for mountain bikers to park...
Check out my poser pics!!!
Roger did you get my order? I just paypaled you earlier.

Doing a mod to FOR a gf....sorry...mind...seizing....up....
If you must, get a pair of bolt ons so when she comes to you and says "Hey, what you really need are some serious sliders, not these dinky sheet metal tubies." Yeah, right....
Hey, your heart is in the right place, man!

ok guys... I just used my shorter gf as an excuse...
I'm only 5'7 myself and with the extra two inches, I may have a hard time getting in and out also...
I was at a weird angle last week at my current height and I had to do some monkey stuff to get in... lol..

Heres what I use:
Go get a pair of stirrups for a saddle and some leather.... loop the leather round the end of the stirrup and rivet the leather together. Cut to length as needed, cut a hole in the non stirrup end, remove bolt to seat, put leather through bolt, and install bolt.
When you get in, flip the stirrup out, use it, get it, pull; stirrup back in, shut door. Keeps it from gettin all mucky, and you lose zero ground clearance/breakover angle.
