how to lift suspension

hello all I'm new here, but I have a few questions about my 88 runner. Can I put 33/12.50 15 tires in my stock rims?

my front suspension has torsion bars, do I have to drop the upper and lower control arms and the cross member to add lift in the front?

Try a quick search in the forum, and I bet you'll find some information that might help. I hate to give a RTFM response, but really there's almost too much information to rehash it here. Good luck. If you don't find what you are looking for in your search on this forum, reply again in this thread.

yes you can put 33s on the stock wheels. No, you do not lower both the upper and lower control arms. Only the lower control arms are moved. the uppers do not change, nor does the position of the torsion bar.
