Started up the car this morning to a fast clicking noise in the engine compartment. It's a 99' w/ about 95k miles.

I know that the t-belt was changed at 60k but I'm not sure if the tensioner was changed. Has anyone had a similar problem with their tensioner or similar noise? I don't know how else to better explain the noise.

 

just sounds like loud valve/lifter noise. dont know that a tensioner would make that sound...

 

if its constant it may be the fuel injectors. sometimes mine get kinda loud depending on the weather in the morning

 

my fuel pressure regulator ticks REALLY loud... it's the loudest noise emanating from the engine compartment, in fact.

this is a 3.0, though
