Anyone know how much a filled gas can weighs?

Anyone know how much a filled gas can weighs?

Thinking of building a rack for a hi lift jack and a blitz type gas can and was wondering if anyone knew how much a full 5 gal. can weighs?

gasoline has a density of approx 6# per gallon.

5 gallons is roughly 30#, then add the weight of the container - 5# to 10# range.

1 gallon of water equals 8.33 lbs.
1 gallon of gasoline equals 5.8 to 6.5 lbs.
1 gallon of ethanol equals 6.59 lbs
