Nice! Do you (or anyone) know what size wall tubing Stubbs uses?

AWESOME looking... those are EXACTLY what I'm waiting to get on my rig. Glad that I get so see what they look like before I buy them for myself. How hard were they to install? How long did it take? I'm going to have mine powder coated before I have them welded on. I'll be sure to post lots of pictures when I get them as well. Looking good!

I had a buddy of mine do the welding and it took about 2 hours all told. That includes attaching the scab plates to the sliders. It wasn't a difficult job for someone who knows what they are doing. I recommend Stubbs sliders unreservedly. Very nicely made and Richard is great to deal with. As to the tube wall thickness, I don't know. Maybe Richard will chime in with that info.

Hello Gavin! The sliders look great on yor 4runner. I was looking at the table that your friend was using when installing the scab plates, and I could not help but think "do they make race car chassis or the like?" in the shop he was using. That table (long I beams) screams race cars to me!
Thanks again, and make sure to have lots of fun breaking them in.
Take care,
Richard

*edit* I just noticed the mud flaps...that worked out great nice job!

PS-The sliders are made of 1.5" x .120 wall which is why we call them "standards" since that is the most common tube size used.

Actually Richard, they make metal door frames for commercial buildings in that shop. The sliders fit just right with those flaps. Perfect length on those sliders.

STUBBS SKO ON MY '97 4Runner

Finally got mine done by Austin at ProTrux, San Diego. Austin welded and trimmed the scab plates first and then welded the sliders. He let me inspect the weld. It was clean. Awesome job. I later stuck non-skid tape strips from home Depot.
