Just me and my Tacoma

Woke up at 4:30 am this morning wide awake. It rained last night and it was really foggy out with the Frogs and Crickets doing there thing. Made a pot of coffee, filled my thermous and poured a cup to go, placed water and sprite in my cooler and a few snacks. Grabbed my .44 for Timber Ratters and Cooperheads. Left a note for my wife saying "See ya later, Love me" and out the door and in my Tacoma by 5:15. Got to run with my new fogg lights on and they worked great! Got to my favorite Bear scouting and off road site by 6:00 am. Hit the minning and logging roads in 4 wheel high to start out and headed up the old mountain trails to "Wallow Hole Knob" and right for the deep mud holes in the dark! Aired down my new "Wild Country Radials" to #20 and hit the mud holes like a "mad pig in heat" with mud and water flying all over the place. Hung up on the front skid plate once but got loose with getting out of the truck. The tires worked great and I have no complaints about these tires off road and on. Worked great over the rocks too.
Also got to check out my Inclinometer/Altimeter and they worked great too! Got the Tacoma tilted to 36 degrees and that's enough for me,Lol.
Just a great day and it's always fun to me to hit these areas in the dark.Spent the rest of the day just driving in the "boon-docks" and loving every minute as always. Tried my new little compressor that I mounted under the hood and it took about 12 minutes to air all four tires back up to #30. I'm really happy with it also. Got back home at 5:00 pm. What a fun day! Been doing this for years and still love it!. The fact that I got to try out my new toys and tires too made it even more fun, Mike

Really lucked out. After we removed the top of the tree and branches we found out that the porch on my shop held the tree from mashing my truck. It has a couple of very minor dents and some scratches in the bed linning but that's all. Can't say the same for my work shop porch or it's roof,Lol. Thanks for asking, we were lucky, 2 people died in that WV storm. Mike
