Any information would be greatly appreciated. I was told I couldn't fit a regular size cd player in there.

Post a pic for us, but im 99.999% sure, as a professional installer, just about any one you want. Who told you this?

 

I remember on my old '84 there was a slight depth problem due to a vent. I just cut the vent and duct taped the opening so the radio could recess into it. At least I think that was it...that was over 10 years ago though.

 

we need pics though.....im positive that metra makes something even for depth issues otherwise the air saw is to the rescue!

 

idk who told ya that. just take a look at the interior of my 82 toy. in the pic i got a jvc headunit but has since been replaced with a sony xplod. long story short, both cd players are standard size for any vehicle really. a lil 'special' riggin on the wires and a lil hacksaw trimmin on the dash trim and there ya have it.
