[CO] Moody Hill & Crystal Mtn (8-6-05)

Had a great trail run with Mojo_Risin & Anna, Flygtenstein, AxleIke, Digger & friends, COCajun, & Arsrmk.

Mojo_Risin & Anna did a great job leading the trail;
Adrian showed us how it's really done, by climbing a couple really steep walls, and then later losing a CV (doh!);
Digger got to break in his TJM bumper - sits a bit higher now!;
AxleIke gave his best effort on the big walls;
And Arsmk got some wheels in air while scraping the underbelly.

This was my first time on this trial, and it was challenging (at least for me), but the view at the top was worth it!

Wait for the pics, it'll prob load slow since there's 24.
Unfortunately a lot came out blurry, so there are some of the better ones.
Hopefully other people post up their pics.

Great pics crux, and i second on a great trip. Got a nice dent in my front bumper now, makes me feel like it finally good for something. Can't wait to get out again!

Oh, and Adrian, if you want/need any help fixing up that CV, let me know, i timed it yesterday on the way home, its about 15 mins from longmont to my apartment.

That's Adrian's rig, Flygtenstien. I'm pretty sure its a rockstomper bumper with some custom modification.

Where's everyone elses pics?

That is my rig, the bumper was built and tweaked at Rockware.

Pics look great, I didn't shoot many at all and none that were as good as these.

The axle is not getting "fixed" in the normal sense.

Good to meet you all.

That would be Flygtenstein, and its a "Sports Kilt".

Great pics Crux! Wish I could've gone, looks like a blast.

That's cool, hope that works out for you, and it'll be cool to see. Thanks again for your spotting in the rock quary.

We had fun too. That trail always surprises me a bit - but it's always fun. Here are our pics (camera died halfway up)

I am not sure I have the legs for a skirt either, but I have a kilt and a skirt and I like them both.

No worries on the bumper, I just had to pimp Rockware again, those guys have always done right by me.

Some neat pics from the quarry, really like how those turned out.

Yup - anna did great! She's getting more drive time (and I'm getting more spot time) I think it's good for both of us - being in different "shoes".

VIDEO:
Here's a video of Digger useing his TJM bumper for what it was designed. LOL...
