Total Chaos Idler and ARB Bumper
I bent my idler arm last weekend. First time I've bent one, but I've gone a few sets of bushings on them. So I figured that I would upgrade the weak point and put on a T.C. super stout idler. The bracing has always seemed like a band-aid and didn't do squat to keep me from bending mine anyway. So I ordered it today, but poking around under my truck I noticed something.
I have an ARB (no, I didn't just noticed that). But the T.C. idler uses the 3 stock hole, but adds a tab under the frame rail and a 12mm bolt to what on a stock truck is an unused hole. The ARB bumper uses this hole, along with I think about 11 other previously unsed holes in the front.
Anyone running a Total Chaos idler and an ARB bullbar? What, if anything, did you have to modify to make it work?
