Can you find my truck?

We had a bad storm here around 5:00 this evening. A "Big" tree came down and wiped out the back porch on my work shop and landed on my Tacoma. I just waxed and fixed a starter problem. All was well with my baby. I swear I hear her crying out there but I can't remove the tree until the insurance man gets here in the morning. I wont sleep tonight, Mike

I, too, am sorry to hear about your misfortune and can only hope that the damage either was'nt that extensive so that it can be easily repaired, or was so that you'll end up with a brand new truck!!!

Thanks Guys. I have tried to post pics on here before with no luck. It doesn't look good but it's under alott of limbs so it's hard to really tell. I'll know more in the morning when we can start removing it slowly. Another truck would be fine but I don't think it's that bad. Besides , I really have a thing for this Tacoma, we have been through some bad spots and it has never let me down.. My work shop porch roof and porch deck are toast. Mike

Ah damn Mike...you know we had some high winds and stuff here a few hours ago too. I was outside watching the trees creaking and cracking...If its not too bad then maybe you can get some panels replaced and a new paint job. Hope its nothin serious...

Is this like a "Where's Waldo" thing? If so, I'll pictures. I'm no freakin' good at all with word problems...

Seriously, I'm sorry this happened, and I hope it's not as bad as it sounds like. I hope "your baby" is at least easily found and repaired, although I wouldn't bet on no to minimal damage, I fear. Trees can be awfully solid...

When I was 8 or so, we had a 100 foot tall, 7 ft. diamter tree completey knock our garage off our house...I know the power of trees so I feel your pain.

I hope the Tacoma is ok...like its been said, either I hope its fixable, or you get a new truck, either way, it will be a tough next few days!

Fink

WOW, glad it didnt fall on someone or your house! If all the glass is intact and the doors open/close and seal ok. take the insurance $$ and put a lift and tires on that bad boy! wear the dents/scratches as badge of honor, with a sticker that says, "That all you got mother nature? This is a Toyota your dealing with!"

WOW! I really do need one of them stickers,Lol. Here is the update....We got the truck out very slowly useing a hand saw and cutting each limb a little at a time. The damage to my Baby is very minor. It broke off my haligen light I had mounted on my tool box for backing up and just seeing behind me at night in the woods. It broke my CB antena but that's no big deal. A few dings and scratches but my Tacoma is tougher than that and she can take it without flinching! "That all you got mother nature? This is a Toyota your dealing with!"
Can't say the same for my shop porch or my yard. 5 trees down total and the yard looks like a tornado hit but that's nothing compaired to what others went through last night. Two dead in Charleston and many still without power in this heat.
I would really like to thank all of you for your concern and several offers for help that I have recieved from people on here that I have never even met. It kind of renews one's hope in man kind in these crazy times and in this crazy world we live on. Thanks again folks, Mike
