2nd gen door panels

ok i got my blaupunkt 6 3/4" components yesterday and put them in.

pictures

i also added some random pictures of my car, including removed running boards and new tires (bridgestone duelers)

let me know what you think!!

I like the box you built for those... are they sealed? How bout a before pic?

not COMPLETELY sealed, as they are only speakers... there are still some gaps/wholes but nothing that would make a difference in sound or speaker quality. if it was a small sub or something like that then i would have definitely sealed it all the way. they are screwed on to the door panel with about 10 screws each.

sorry, i dont have a before pic at all... wish i would have taken the time and taken some.

So, how are they performing so far for $40 investment?

definitely a good investment! i still need to spray-paint the grilles so they dont stick out so much and hopefully it will look a little more "stock"...

im thinking about replacing them sometime down the road with some polks, getting a 4-channel amp for them and my current polks, and getting a new headunit (need more pre-amp outs)... but ill cross that bridge when i come to it. for now, im content!
