Lift with New Springs and Shocks

Got a 86 Runner with 327,000 miles on it. Time to replace springs, was thinking of using Downey 3" lift springs, suppose to get 2" lift out of it. Could I replace my shocks with OEM shocks, with the new lift? I want the lift, but want the smoothest ride possible. I never do any real 4x4 wheeling, some minor off road stuff. Opinions? If I could not use OEM replacement shocks, what brand would you suggest for the nicest Highway Ride?

Thanks for the input..
