PISMO 4RJ3 | August 5-7, 2005

It's that time of the year again. Time for the yota crew to hit the beach for some summer wheelin' fun.

Unfortunately, this year Bob Bob_98SR5 and Steve Robinhood150 are pretty busy and won't have time to plan it (nor attend possibly?).

That doesn't mean the trip won't happen. Last year was fun and I say we do it again. We're gonna have to get things going kinda quick, but I think we should shoot for a late July event. Or possibly early August. Any earlier and it's too soon. Mid August is no good for a few of the Pismo regulars due to another trip planned, and school starts in Late August for a lot of us.

I know no single weekend will work for everyone, but let's see what comes out as a good overall choice.

Going with the Friday-Sunday schedule, we have:
July 22-24
July 29-31
August 5-7

What do you guys think?
:bounce2:

06/20 EDIT: So it's August 5-7.
Here's the link to make reservations: http://www.reserveamerica.com/jsp/co.../newindex.html
You need to make reservations to be able to camp overnight at Oceano Dunes SVRA.

The trip's website: http://www.4runners.org/pismo4rj3/

I vote for August 5-7, as the further away the better for financial reason... Its really too far to tell for me though, starting a new job soon. Also, my 5VZFE swap might be done by august!! Hopefully...

Good work planning Charles. One note- plan to go when it's not busy. Doesn't look like the dates hit holidays but make sure.
I say this b/c I was there memorial day weekend and a 4Runner had a motorcycle land on it while playing on the dunes.
Saw 2 atv's jump on top of another, etc, etc. Lots of idiots out there...it's like Darwin's playground out there.

What? Pismo's not a vacation?!

I can go pretty much anytime, however, later the better.

No night runs for me, night time is time. Last year the night run ended not too well.
