2nd Gen 3-4" Rear Coil Lift Options

To complement my 4 inch SAS lift up front (3" leaf 1" shackle) I'm weighing my options for a rear coil lift around three to four inches. I figure the leaf spring will sag so I'd like to find out if the coils will too. This is a daily driver so I'm looking for a good balance between road-worthiness and flex. Any opinions/ideas would help. I've basically decided on the All Pro panhard bracket and control arms, but I'm still trying to figure out which coils perform best in this range. Here's what I've compiled so far.

Downey 3" (Less Flex/Better Stability?)
Pro Comp 4" (More Flex/Less Unstable?)
Any Cruiser Coils in this size range?
1.5" All Pro spring with 2 1/4" spacers (anybody running something similar?)

Ooh... also, Is it reccomended to modify/replace the driveshaft?
Thanks in advance

My current rear setup...
1.5" All Pro Coils.
4" Pro Comp 3000's
Crown Performance SS brake line

I have the 4" Superlift and I like the coils in the rear. The biggest thing that you are going to run into with the flex is the length of the shocks. When mine flexes, the shock gets fully extended, and the coil is still seated on the top and bottom. Also, like you have planned, new control arms. Post pics of the flex when you get done. I'll do the same after I get my longer control arms and longer shocks.

hey josh,

I'll sell you my old superlift coils, they are way broken in and give about 3.5 of lift.
