i originally did a CAD drawing about 10 weeks ago, just a rough sketch of what i wanted to build. I started production over spring break and worked on it during my few weekends home from school, along with a new rear bumper which i finished 2 weeks ago. i finally finished the fabrication today and painted it and mounted it.

looks really sick, like the idea for my rack, but im using tube, love the look though. One question, what did you do for the top? just criss cross?

 

i made a big square using 1x1, then made two cross bars of 1x1 and made the grid like appearance by putting sections of 3/4x3/4 in between the cross bars
