Man, I really need to get that write-up submitted. Use a fiber cup brush and sand them down. Wipe them off with Acetone. Mask off the tire. Hand sand the sharp edges. Wipe with Acetone. Prime them. Paint them. Clear coat them (if you wish).

In summary: Sand, wipe, mask, sand, prime, paint, clear

Done. VHT polyurethane wheel paint works awesome.

Here's mine. Done just like Christian said, except I don't even know what a wire cup brush is I just used 150grit.

+ down time for powdercoating. Using this method, there isn't much downtime.

I got an estimate of 75 cents per wheel JK, 45 per wheel is less than I would have thought, not bad...

Try wiping with an Acetone rag sometime and you just might skip it too!
