Lost Quicklaunch bar

well i dont know what i did, but somehow i lost my quicklaunch toolbar... i try to create a new one through properties and get: "Cannot create toolbar" i searched support.microsoft.com to no avail, im probably just not looking for the right stuff.. how do i restore my ql bar?

Right click on the main toolbar, scroll up to "Toolbars", select "Quick Launch". That should take care of it.

yeah it doesnt, thats the problem i am having... says it: "Cannot create toolbar"

hmmm....thats a weird one....maybe you can try over writing it with a new couple of IE

I never had to do that so I dont know how well it will work, if at all. There is a way to uninstall IE so you can re-install. I dont know that procedure off hand.

Pop in the windows cd, reboot and boot to the CD, and run a Windows Repair session and see if that fixes anything.

i have the cd but dont see a prt on it about fixing itself and windows runs automatically.... should i be trying the bootup disk floppy or the cd itself?

ok, its fixed... i reloaded ie6 and now it i have my toolbar back
