I do not have the proper tools required to lower my spare tire. is there a way to lower the spare with out the lowering rod. i bought my rig with out the tools so i have no way to lower my spare. any suggestions/ experiences would be greatly appreciated. TIA peace

 

pliers and rotate that square shaped hole. Or get some socket bit that will accomadate that square and try ratcheting that shizzle.

 

Go to a wrecking yard and get the stuff. Might come in handy some day...
