Question 3rd gen Transfer case vibrations?

Well I finally got some time to look over my truck to figure out where these vibrations have been coming from. As it turns out, the vibrations feel like they're coming directly from the transfer case. I've checked my u-joints and they are perfect (absolutely no play), and the tranny still shifts good with the exception of the vibration. The vibration is most noticable at 2000-3000 rpm's and sometimes while idling. The vibrations will go away if you slip it into neutral. You can feel the vibration in both 4x4 and 2wd. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem with the 3rd gen transfer case, and what they did to remedy it? Or if anyone else has a good idea of how I can fix it? Any help would be great.... Thanks.

btw I have a automatic '96 4Runner 4x4 Limited with e-locker

Some of the things that may cause vibration:

imbalanced drive shaft, loose support bolt(s) and nut(s), worn rubber bushings for the support, excessive wear & tear due to driveline bind
