What size are the stock 3rd gen 4Runner wheels?

16x7?

If I buy Goodyear Wrangler MTR LT285/75R-16, will these fit on the my stock wheels? (I'm currently running bfg 265s)

In the future if I decide to buy some 16x8 black alloy wheels, will I be able to run the same LT285/75R-16 tires?

Thnx!

(I'd do a search, but it seems to be broken (page cannot be displayed) - at least for me).

I believe you will be rubbing if you dont have a lift...the 265's are the biggest you can put on without rubbing.

I'm installing a lift right now - just waiting on a few more parts to finish

Starting to get together my plans to buy bigger tires

I thought someone had 275s on without rubbing.
If you go with 285s you definately need to do some hammering to prevent rubbing.

Both 15x7 and 16x7 have been available on the 3rd Gens.

Only if you have the 16x7s.
