I was wondering if it is possible to just swap hubs from my truck with those of a 91 with manual hubs? I was guessing that it would just be like running with the hubs locked all the time is that true? Thanks

 

check out corey's or robinhood's sites, they have done the manual hub swap with write-up and pix. cebby has done a nice write-up on rebuilding and repainting also.

failing that, you could always search. just click, type in manual hub swap or similar and a plethora of info will magically appear before your eyes!

Ya I've seen the stuff on putting manual hubs on my truck...I'm just wondering about putting my auto "hubs" onto the other truck...thanks

 

They arnt auto hubs, they are just flanges that connect the axle to the hub. Putting the flanges on a truck without add would spin everything up the the T-case.
