Was underneath the truck today and came across this. It is, I believe, the steering shaft. Does this look snapped to you? The flange is peeling up. It isn't recent and I don't feel any difference in the steering.

 

nope its normal... that is the ragjoint..... its 2 seperate pieces conected together by a piece of essentially a tire tread piece of rubber
