Hey all. 99 Tacoma 2.4l. This is whats going on... Parking brake indicator light flashins while brake is no on. Does turn on while brake is pulled. I just ordered the pin switch from Toyota but I pulled out the stock unit and it is a basic switch and it looks to me like its working. Anyone have any info, or help point me inthe right direction? Thanks in advance!

 

Did you check your brake fluid?
That'd be one of the first things to check. Maybe it's going on when you pull the brake (I'm assuming ebrake) because you're on an incline when you use it?
