Question This a Good Price for 99 sr5 v6 with sport pkg

My Father wants to sell his 99 4runner V6 4X4 with the sport package. Its the green color, has running boards, roof rack, rear wind deflector, power windows/locks, rear heater, Auto, and more that I can't think of right now. It also has 36000 miles on it and is in great shape. He wants to sell it to me for 15,000 and I'm sure thats a great price. I also really like the new 03 4runners, but they are just a lot of money for me right now. So do you guys think I should buy this one while I can or should I just save up for another year and grab an SR5 V8 4X4 or maybe even a Sport Edition V8 4X4. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, as you can see this is my first post lol. Thanks to anyone that lends advice.

Sounds fair to me. Does it have the RR DIFF LOCK button to the left of the wheel on the dash? That button alone is worth $750. Since its your dad try to lowball him a bit. Never take a sellers first offer.

And Welcome to Yotatech!!

Hmmmm... i think your father should get more for a vehicle like that and you deserve a 2003. I say wait a year and go for the 4th gen and help your father make more K's.

hey guys thanks for the replies. I fount out that it does not have the rear locker, but hey being in north FL the average ratios for 2wd and 4x4 4runners is like 10 to 1. I'm just happy he bought the 4x4 and not a 2wd lol. He does not mind giving me this deal and he just wants me to have something nice for my first carrier job lol, since I'm getting out of college. I'm gonna borrow the 15,000 so he can have his money up front and my payment would be about 340 a month for 48 months, which is very affordable to me. He also said he would help me get a Tundra, because he wants a truck in the family to haul some stuff around. Hmmmm choices, choices.
