Synthetic winch line install question
Just wondering if anyone had to pull out their winch to install it.
I am hoping I can just unspool it all, and reach the nut from the top of my TJM. That would make things so much easier...

Jim (mytruck) and I did mine in his driveway.
Just unspool the wire line, take out the allen bolt that holds in the eye ring that holds the line on, and fasten new line on, and spool 'er back up.
I did mine from underneath.
Piece of cake.

I got the 5/16" 100' amsteel blue line, and it looks like it has an average strength of 44,660 lbs.
