Well the easiest way to change the final gearing is....you guessed it...Larger tires!

Yeah Yeah, I know. Poor fuel mileage blah blah blah.

So, what is largest tire I can fit under the 82yota without rubbing the fenders. Keep in mind I really have little articulation in the axle given stock everything.

32s should fit without rubbing. you could run 33s but you'll rub on turns.

 

33s will rub on higher speed turns (when the truck articluates to one side) and if your wheels are turned when you go over a bump (like pulling into your driveway?) if you get 33s take your tires off and trim the inside of the fender a little , just the seem...maybe take a hammer and pound it in a little...but no bigger than 33's and be carefull off-road
