How many 1st gen Tubro out there?
How many do we have here on the fourm? I'm working on up loading my new picts of my new toy. I was thinking of 3 including me. I could be wrong. Let's see you picts!!

The closest I got to one was when I test drove a '87 PU back in '93;they seem pretty rare now.

If I'm counting right, we are at 8 made so far, Plus I saw one last week in Boulder, so that's nine.

Oh, there is a guy I work with at Toyota that has two, so that's 11!

I may be ditching my turbo engine. Took my block to the machine shop today to get it cylinder walls cleaned up but the guy there says he doesn't know if it'll clean up. If it doesn't might modify a 22RE block or buy a Chevy 350.

my buddy has an 87 Runner- came from the Chicago area. He's doing LOTS of work to it. Had cancer real bad, was over heating due to a rotting radiator, but she's near completion now...just waiting for paint.

How many of these were equipt with rear heat? He also has the factory eq radio/tape (i think). Did any of these come w/ digital gauges?? I want to say his has the digital, but me being kinda new to Toyotas & the fact the trucks been under a cover for the last 6 months...

He swapped the auto out for a 5spd too....should be a blast when it's done.

I'll get him to post pics when it's done!
