Stock fog lamp bulb replacement
#7
I've been using 80/100's in my Thundra for 4 months now and haven't had a single issue with the higher output, as your foglights may be made out of the same Lexan plastic, it should be just fine. I have been wanting to go higher output on my fogs but don't know what style bulb fits in them, any idea? 04 Thundra.

hey t,
i just purchased some hella 500 *driving* lamps last night. but after doing tons of searching on the forum about every aux light thread possible, the general consensus is that w/ those stock fog lights, upgrading to a 100w bulb made little difference. though i dont recall anyone saying taht anything fried or melted, i personally (after reading all those threads) would just keep it at 55w and maybe get an amber lense cover, as many owners who purchased hella 550 fog lights said amber really did the job as compared to the clears
