Does anyone know how long the bed is on a 1991 ext cab pickup? Is it 7 feet?

I'll be happy to put a tape measure on it tonight for you. But I can tell you right up front it's not 7 feet. It's right at 6ish.

I measured mine once and it was like 75 inches or something around there.

Outside dimensions were 76 long x 60 wide. Inside the rails (not on the floor) was 73 1/2 x 57.

Don't mean to hijack the thread here, but is the box on an extended cab (89-95) the same exact box that's on a regular cab short-bed?

But if you are looking for a bed canopy don't forget the cabs are different. A canopy that matches the cab contour will be different for a standard cab or Xtracab, the Xtracab is more slanted.

Any canopy I get will be something ghetto that doesn't fit against the cab, just somethin cheap so when I go campin I dont freeze my ass off

I have seen long bed 89-94 trucks out there, although quite uncommon. I think they might have only been produced until 1990, but that's just a guesstimate.
