for you RANCHO experts out there.....

take a look and tell me what u think...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

i emailed the seller and he gave me part #RS5761.
i then emailed rancho corp. and they sent me this reply:

"Thank you for your interest in Rancho products. The RS5761are front struts
for a Toyota Tacoma. These are just the struts for a tock height vehicle
and they do not come with springs. We do not offer a suspension lift for
the Tundra at this time."

its coming tomorrow and im really confused about whether this item is FOR my tundra or not. in the item description they say its 3" springs and shocks.. but they look like stock coils to me... advise needed guys.. thanks!!!

The RS5761 is in fact the stock replacment for the front of a Tacoma. I have a set. Seeing yur other posts on this, I gather what they did was put Tundra springs on Tacoma shocks and use em for 3" (that's the rumor for the amout of lift gained if using Tundra coils on a Tacoma) of lift on a Tacoma. I believe that add should read a 3" lift for a Tacoma, not Tundra. The seller is confused. At any rate, it's not advisable to use the Tundra springs on a Tacoma and I wouldn't waste my time with em since you have a Tundra. Not to divert you from here but you might consider checking out www.tundrasolutions.com forum. Don't get me wrong, this is a great forum, the best IMO, but beings that they specialize in just the Tundra, they oughta be real informative for ya.

Good luck.

You could sell it back to those who you bid against. What kind of color markings are on the coils?

THANKS GUYS! i really appreciate your advice.. however.. i have emailed the seller and told him exactly what i have posted here.. and two days later he emailed me back with a refund of 81.02. The total was 71.02 and the extra 10 dollars is from my request to split the shipping. THANKS AGAIN!
