Everyone in cold climates beware. The fan on my truck died this morning. There is a TSB out to replace the fan because they are freezing up and dying. A new redesigned replacment fan is out. This affect all 03 and 04 models. Worst part is the redesigned fans are on backorder. I could be looking at one week before I see the part according to the dealer. Toyota is not willing to pay for a rental because the truck is technically drivable. Tough to drive a truck when it was -1 F this morning. The dealer is battling with Toyota on the rental and we'll see if someone else will sacrfice their fan. The whole situation is BS.
