You might try cranking the engine over by hand (with a ratchet on the crank pulley bolt) with the truck in neutral. If the engine doesn't move, you have something serious going on there and it will require some diagnosis to find out the actual cause. You can also try pulling the plugs to see if a head gasket let loose and hydrolocked the motor if you weren't able to turn it over before.

I also assume the engine is not turning over when you push the truck by hand and that the tranny is not binding because you are able to push it and get it rolling.

I didn’t see what motor you had but the v6 rods are week. I through a rod in my 22r because the PO didn’t torque the rod cap down properly when he put new bearings in. It has been a major pain replacing the motor. It did the same thing that you are talking about. It wouldn’t start with the starter and I through the rod while 4x4ing at the top of a mountain and needed it to run to get out. I have fr and rr lockers 5.29 gears and while coasting down a rock face with the clutch in I popped the clutch to try to bump start it the hole truck would lock up and bounce. After 3-4 tries it broke the rod through the side of the block and ran rough on 3 cylinders until the rod got lodged on the other side and I broke it through that side to. I got down the mountain but I destroyed the whole motor. So I feel your pain and hang in there. good luck.

To make this short so you dont have to go to the other link; Yota mechanic put a breaker bar with cheater on eng and WE couldnt get it to turn at all. So there goes $3806 for new motor not to mention $1300 for parts and labor.
Only good thing about this is that I am on leave for a month!!!
