2nd gen bolt in cage
#2
most cages cannot be bolt in due to the fact that bolting it in cuases weaknesses that will nto be able to support the vehicle in a roll situation... yes some cages bolted in are fine, however most cant handle it... a custom built welded in cage is the best bet

AP is definitely going to be the only place that will have a "cage" for a 4Runner, but for teh price, I'd go custom. I think their rear cage kits for the front are around $400 (shipping is going to be spendy too), and their rear cage was about $300, but I don't see it on their site anymore.

i just put in my all pro cage. lots of fab work but all the bends are done it's pretty damn sweet when you get it all done, but i think i hindsight i would have gone custom if i could have got my fab guy to do it. when i bought my kit i inquired about the rear kit and they have discontinued making it. i will probably be having my buddy do a rear cage custom for me soon
