Baja trip comming up....

Well, this Friday I am off to my annual Baja surf trip. Been going since I was a kid, and my dad has been going since he was a kid!

Anyways, many of you know of the recent rains here on the West coast. I think its gonna be extra muddy and flooded out through central baja.

Problem is this: We are taking my dad's Yota.

He has a '03 TRD Tundra V8............. 2WD...blowing it. No tires or anything. All hes done is put some cornfeds on the front and an air-lift on the back. Last year we had clearance issues...so this year we'll be okay with that. Unfortuently, we didn't need 4wd last year either because it was pretty dry through the desert.

This year though, its gonna be hectic. We have to drive on 75 miles of desert road. For 50 miles of it, we travel on the roads for the Baja 1,000. So, basically the roads are s***. Add water and they suck even more. Cant go around the water, because of the cacti.

Most of the hills are littered with cobblestone, and the ruts are enourmous. I'll be taking lots of pictures....Probably every other minute as we get stuck and need to get winched out by my dad's friend.... lol.

Then there is this one river we have to cross...

Can you cross your fingers for me?

Thanks.
