Nice rig! Not real partial to the clear this/that but your rig seems to pull it off well.

 

Get some Pirelli Scorpion A/T...pretty good tire! There on my vehicle.

Here's a photo of mine on the Bridgestone's you asked for (although they are running low on tread!)

 

If you want the offroady look get the BFGs. I've had 265/75 Revos and they just look like street tires. The sidewall just isn't as pronounced as the BFG.

 

Best tires I've owned. None better in the rain.

 

I've gone through two sets of 275/70/16 Dueler A/T REVOs. Loved them! After my first set, I decided to try the 265/75/16 size (picture below). Had them one for a week or so and sold them. I'm not sure if the additional weight of the somewhat taller diameter was to blame, but my front end shuddered with every small road irregularity. Drove me nuts.

Went back to the 275/70 size and just retired them last month. 50,000 miles out of the first set, and 60,000 miles out of the second.

Of course these are no longer made :banghead:

So I mounted a fresh set of Michelin LTX M/S tires in 275/70/16. So far, so good. :thumbup:

I've had mine for several years.... they've performed VERY well. I've never had ANY driveablity issues at all due to size or anything else... in fact, I'm considering going to a bit taller and thinner tire (255/85/16) BFG Mud-Terrains due to fact that my truck sees at min 50% offroad time. (Mostly on rutted dirt roads... some mud... occaisional sand.. and normally at speed too)

Only thing holding-back on the BFG's is that Nicaragua does not have all the sizes/brands/etc. that we can easily get in the States. If I can't get the taller BFG... I'll likely get these same Bridgestones again!

 

I loved my Revos. Got about 45k of spirited driving out of them. They were 265/70's though. Amazing tire in the rain, almost unbelievable. Tread looked pretty aggressive to me, although in really muddy situations they would get caked up pretty easily. Awesome tire for the price though. I think I paid a little over 6 bill for tires and install.
