I,m new to this so please accept my apoligies before hand. My daughters 96 2wd 4runner has a surge or something around 60mph and I tried to search under transmissions and overdrive to see if someone else had this problem and I,m not having much luck. Can someone please tell what of how to do it? Thanks

 

Just type in transmission and the hit search. We might be able to help you if you tell us more specifics like type of engine, manual or auto. Any engine mods? And try to descibe the problem in detail. One more thing- welcome to the best forum around.

 

The engine is a 3400 automatic it seems to shudder or make a clunk at about 60mph it only did it a couple of times on a 2 hour trip. When I search I can only get the present post how do I look at the ones from a year or so ago? or is ther a phone # I could call as I've been at this for about 2hrs now and I give.
