Bushwacker Flares Installed

Hello everyone,
I finished installing my Bushwacker Extend-a-fender flares yesterday. I had installed the rear ones a couple days ago, but the front ones were a bit more difficult. First of all none of the "dimples" for drilling holes lined up with any existing holes as the rear ones mostly did. Second, I had to remove the front wheels one side at a time to have room for a drill. (Finally Hi-Lift tested the Badlands sliders-Success!!) My only problem with the whole install was that the front fenders don't fit as tightly against the original fenders (rubber gasket to paint) as the rear ones did. I think that there will be dirt getting in the gap and scratching up the paint.

Congrats on the install.
When we did mine, we drilled into a few other places than where the dimples were.

If we did not, we would have been in the plastic fenderwell liner, so we made our own holes and drilled into sheet metal instead.

Both my sets are nice & tight though, with no gaps.

Gotta get some pics of the Wackers, and your Badland sliderz
Did you get the tube style like Mike & I did so you can unbolt them if needed and pull them off?

I can't remember if you had that guy Jeff has powder coat yours or not.
I sure like the powder coat on mine.
No chips so far, and its holding up great.
The paint that Carol put on the first time came off easily and started to rust.

Corey,
Yeah I got to get some pics of the sliders and flares tomorrow. Unfortunately when I showed up at Jeff's to have the sliders installed he told me that he couldn't have them sleeved that day. So instead of leaving sliderless, I just had them weld them on. He told me that I could come back again and have them cut, and sleeved at a later time if I wanted to. I will probably have it done when I get my rear bumper from him next month or February. I'll take the pics in the morning I guess. Should have taken some yesterday when I was installing the front flares (Hi-lift test without front wheel) as it would have made a great demo pic of the strength of the sliders.
