I want bigger tires!

ok guys....here is a picture of my runner as it currently looks. She is a 98, 90,000 miles, OME 2 inch lift all around, and an assorted array of other mods.

I was looking at one of the members 4runner on here that has 35 inch tires with Sequoia rims. It looks mean, and I think mine would look totally bad ass with the 35's. My question: Do I have to do any additional mods to make sure that 35's will fit? Thank you in advance for any help, I greatly appreciate it.

the article is about running 315's. I currently am using 265's, is it possible to move up to 285's without as extensive a modification? I dont know if I really want to change out gears, replace A-arms, and start grinding down pieces of the runner. If anyone is using 285's on their runners, i would love some help.

Thanks a lot guys

I have 285's and a 2" Body lift. They fit perfectly without rubbing. You can do the same with a 1" body lift.

I am using the middle of the road.....i did not get the Heavy duty because I was afraid they might be too harsh. I still got at least 2 inches in the rear though.

well with 2" lift you should be able to fit 285's, and if there is a concern for a little bit of extra room for insurance, then try some cornfed spacers... that should do the trick

Check my signature. Rubbing a little on the fender liner near the pinch weld.
