I'm ready to start building my enclosure, but I've never seen fiberglass resin anywhere. Where should I go?

 

home despot or any of the other stores like lowes. also, try marine/boating stores. cheaper there as i am told but have not verified

buy them in gallons...

 

surfboard resin, hardner, and cloth are superior to the boat stuff, they will dry bright white while the boat stuff turns an ugly brown. you can also mix pigment into the resin to get a nice gloss color. Check the internet for dealers. SoCal surf shops would be a good start.

you can aslo get resin @ kragens, pepboys, etc... in the same area as bondo

 

Plasticare sells all the FG stuff in the strip of stores behind/across the street from Red and Jerrys on Santa Fe. i think it was about $35/gallon for the impact resin which you want as opposed to the laminating resin. they have all kinds of different cloth there too if you need it.
