New mod: Cabela's clock/tem gauge...

Nothing major here, after my OEM clock busted and I found out that they wanted ~300 bucks for the replacement, I was looking for a cheaper alternative. Cabela's sells this slick little clock and temperature gauge that gives readings of both the cabin and outdoor temperature. I ran the outside sensor through the rubber bung in the driver's side footwell and attached it to my CB antennae mount. It keeps track of the high/low record temps, and is useful for knowing when it might be cold enough for black ice. Overall, took about 30 minutes to install. It runs off of 2 AA batteries, and only costs ~20 bucks!

Yeah, it fits pretty nicely, attaches via sticky pads/velcro so that you can get to the back to replace the batteries, certainly a cheaper alternative to the rear view mirrors with temp. gauge.

I have one of those exact same units. I can't find a good place to mount if however so if anybody wants it, I'll sell it cheap. Sorry to thread jack. Yours looks good there.

Well, it was about 20 new so maybe $12 plus shipping, but no more than $15. ???
