Here are pictures. I love the wheels. They look great. I haven't had any problems balancing them however I have heard of people who have. Let me know if you have any questions about them.

Can someone PLEASE explain to my DUMB-A** how to post larger pictures like the ones above.
I keep trying to do it as an attachment and it keeps getting kicked back for being to large?

Thanks

First you have to put your pictures online in webspace that your online service provider gives you or a free location. What you want to do is copy the web address where you have the pictures saved online and put that web address in between the code below. Some servers don't let you link pictures so its trial and error.

holy thread bumping batman!

But to awnser your question, The FJ's come with 17" wheels stock i think (could very well be wrong) so if that is the case 16" might not work.

I don't have an FJ so i don't have a clue.

There's a thread in UT that a few guys saying that the finish coat of the wheels are degrading so you might like to check it out.. some say that it's because of the tire cleaner (or something like that) used.

just an fyi.

The clearcoat was an issue on these wheels in the beginning. Toyota discontinued these wheels a few years back (This could have had something to do with that). Once they discontinued them, your only option was to buy them used.

However, just a few months ago, Toyota re-released these wheels, having said to have corrected the clear coat issue. Not a concern w/ 3rd gens, but Toyota also created these re-released wheels to accommodate tire pressure sensors.

I've got a set of the re-released wheels mounted on my 3rd gen and love them. Don't know how they would work on FJs though...

Since you're considering a set of TRD wheels for an FJ, have you thought about the newer style TRD wheels? Here they are on t4r.org member - Crozhawk (Of course, you can also get these wheels outside of Toyota...known as the BBS RW's):
