SR5 fender flares??
#2
good luck.
hard to find.
search the classifieds.
I got lucky and got some for $75.

EDIT: If you add some flares to your rig make sure you put down some gasketing material between the paint and the flare or it will scar your paint. I think most flares these days come with gasketing material, but there is a nice add-on tech write-up about how to do it after the fact in the write-ups section here on YT.

Why not just buy some Bushwacker ExtendAFenders? They look very close to the same. (but better IMHO) Or the OEM style, or the Street flares...

Im lookin for something a little on the cheaper side, since my pockets arent that deep right now. And last i checked the bushwacker flares were in the area of 300+ now i would have to check into the OEM style flares, see how they look. I'm going to be picky about them because i want them to cover a little tire but not be too bulky like the limited flares.

I got my 3rd gen Bushwacker's for $250 from JC Whitney. I was impressed with the fit and finish of these as they bolted right up to the stock bolt holes and the piece on the rear doors only required drilling 4 small holes for the door flare bracket to affix.
Added cheap PepBoys mudflaps and completed the job. I had mine painted glossy black and with the Burgundy body color of my Runner it gives it a unique look, especially on the '96-'98 Runners. You also get two choices of flare type front bumper pieces to suit your taste;one piece wraps around the bottom of the bumper/valance and your other choice is the piece that slopes flat right at the bottom of the valance
On the "Limited" look of the Bushwackers they actually are about a half inch thinner than the OEM Limited flares but still maintain the Limited's exact style.
I had mine painted by a friend and they look sharp and have a sleeker look than a true Limited.

I am looking to replace my matte black SR5 flares on my '99...depending on how the search goes for replacements you might be able to snag mine.
If you're interested I'll estimate a price.

Bushwacker has pictures of all their fender flares on their website on your 4Runner:

The body shop at the dealer said they would do it for me but they would not warrant it because they have had bad luck with the paint sticking to that plastic.
The limited flares are quite a bit wider than the SR5 too...just completes the look all in all.
