A few pictures from tonight. (Snow & Sunset)

Went up to my usual spot to play in the snow and watch the sun set to end another day.

It's very windy up there due to the lack of trees, so there are bare patches, and deep drifts all rolled up into one. Makes for a nice fun drive

I was shivering a tiny bit, so most of the photos turned out blurry since I didn't bring my tripod with me

I managed to salvage a few though, figured I was due to share something.

Scofco,
Those are some awesome pics! Your rig looks right at home in the snow. Hopefully the snow heads this way soon, or I'll have to go towards the snow!

Very nice. I'm jealous, I can't wait for the cold to hit here. I got a friggin' sun burn yesterday. I'm sick of the heat.

What size tires you got on that thing?

Lack of trees making it more windy?!? Hmm I dont know about that one though... hehe

Thanks guys!

Yes, my windshield is cracked to hell, it will probably be replaced at the end of this winter if it survives that long.

The tires are little 32's. The MT's work well in the powder, at the lower elevations there were alot of tracks then near the top I had to blaze my own because everyone else had turned around.

Anxiously waiting for snow here but if I drove a bit up to the mountains I'm sure I could find some but I want some real snow here in town.

I dig those shots at that time of the day,it looks real peaceful up there.

I think everyones oil pressure gauge looks like that

It sits there on idle, the jumps between the 1st and 2nd lines at 1500. Not where the manual says it should be. Tsk tsk.

Snow potential is anywhere from September to May so up in the mountains the snow'll be around when you are here so PM me when you're gonna be in town and we could hook up with some more members too and make it an outing.

Nice to know we agree on our gauges. Your gauge readouts are exactly like mine.

Nice job of framming the landscape in with your rig. I have to say though, I'm not ready for snow. Damn, now I sound like my dad.

Hey Scofco Great pics evening or dawn shots are the best to show off the trucks and the scenery. I can't wait for the snow to hit down here. got my extraction straps and invoices all printed up and ready to go haha. my oil pressure looks a little better than that but not much. I run crappy tire 5w30 full synthetic (which is mobil1 at about 60% of the price) and get good results with that... cheers Aviator.

I went out there last night at an attempt to get a quality image, but I didn't make it up the mountain in time for the proper light So it turned into a Yotatech trip

I went up a different mountain to try and get another quality shot, and succeeded this time around, here was what I nabbed. I only took 2 photos, and this was one of them. It was bloody COLD up there! I wasn't dressed properly at all! *brrr*

I'm still working on getting a good shot for the calender. Hopefully I can get something tommorrow.
