Let's see them - a pic and quick description. I am stuck in the well-known 265 or 285 dilemma, and pics would greatly help. I've searched so much that I am seeing the same damn pics over and over! Post away fellas

Last month I put a set of Goodyear ATS's (275/70/17) on my 04 Runner. Not a ton of sizes for or types of 17 inchers. They are big 32's or small 33's. I did get a chance to see them unmounted next to some BFG AT's that were 285's and looked way too big. Like a big 33's!

Lost only 1-1.5 MPG and my acording to the GPS my speedo is still spot on.

man I cant believe how big of a difference the 265's and 285's are. that is like 31's to 33's right?

whats all the numbers after the 265/285...like the 16, thats the rim? and then the other one is how wide?

I struggled with the same thing. Tire shop was nice enough to test fit 285s for me and they worked out.
