Angry cleaning up

hey guys..

last night i burried my 93 4runner up to the rockers. One of those mud holes that was nicely hidden with grass and looked dry until my truck fell in.. The thing is it was under mud and water for a few hours until i could get it pulled out... i pressure washed the whole thing and now im finding everything that i hurt along the way... right now my biggest problem is that my rear end is dripping gear oil mixed with water.... i need to know if this is normal and an oil change will fix it or if i broke something.. any advice would be huge..

thanks
chris

You're rear axle? You probably cloged your differential breather (see tech writeup section for rear differential extension). As a result you blew an or both axle seals. Search rear axle seal on here and you will find several threads about fixing it for 3rd gen 4Runners...you'll probably wind up taking it in to be fixed.
